How much does it cost to get a document(s) notarized?

  • This is just the cost per notarial act. 
  • Does not include the traveling fee.

How much is your traveling fee?

$30-200

  • The amount depends on which county you are in/ desired meet-up location/gas mileage.


CERTIFICATES

What if my document(s) does/do not have a proper notarial certificate?

I can provide a loose certificate to you at no cost. 

  • The loose certificate will be attached at the end of  your document(s).

What is an apostille? ["ah-pos-tee"]

An apostille is a certificate issued through the Secretary of State or U.S. Department of State that verifies the authenticity of a notarized or certified document for use in foreign countries. 

  • Involves countries that are members of The Hague Apostille Convention. 

What is an authentication?

An authentication is a certificate issued by the Secretary of State and  the U.S. Department of State.

  • The process requires additional legalization through the destination country's embassy or consulate. 
  • Involves countries that are not members of The Hague Apostille Convention. 


DAY OF APPOINTMENT

Where is the best place for us to meet?

  • We can meet at any public setting that provides a stable environment (e.g. - Cafes, library, etc.)  or any location of your choice.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Completed documents (except for signatures, this will be completed during our appointment) 
  • Valid driver's license or identification card
  • Payment


REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Do I need to send you my documents before our appointment?

  •  No, it is not required, but it is highly preferred. Sending your documents in advance helps ensure full preparation and allows for a smooth, efficient appointment. 

Do the documents need to be completed before our appointment?

  •  Yes, please make sure your documents are fully completed before our appointment. I can only notarize signatures and cannot fill out or modify documents. 
  •  I am only authorized to complete and make changes within the notarial certificate (such as an acknowledgment or jurat), and cannot modify any part of the document itself. 

What forms of ID are acceptable?

  • Driver's License 
  • Identification card 
  • These are two preferred forms of I.D. Please note that your driver's license or ID must be current or issued within the last 5 years. 

What forms of ID are NOT acceptable?

  • Social Security cards 
  • Birth Certificates 
  • Credit/Debit cards 
  • Work or School IDs 
  • Photocopies of ID

What if I do not have a valid ID?

  •  To comply with Florida notary requirements, I’m only able to complete notarizations when a valid government-issued ID (or approved alternative) is provided.
